Panthers to Face No. 48 Middle Tennessee in Final Regular Season Road Contest

ATLANTA -- Georgia State men's tennis (14-5) will travel to No. 48 Middle Tennessee on Friday afternoon for the final road contest of the regular season

Georgia State began the final week of the regular season with a 4-0 sweep over UAB. The Panthers jumped to a quick lead, taking the doubles point. GSU earned the advantage behind the results of the program's two ranked doubles pairings No. 55 Kevin Huynh and Harvey Maughan and No. 86 Andrei Duarte and Roberts Grinvalds.

The Panthers collected singles victories from Diego Padilha, Duarte, and Maughan to complete the sweep against the Blazers. The team victory marked the 10th consecutive win for GSU this season, matching the record for fifth most wins in a row in program history.

The Panthers will meet an impressive Middle Tennessee squad that holds a 13-7 record. The Raiders enter the match after falling in their last two meetings to Louisville and Memphis. First serve is set for 4:30 p.m. ET. Fans can follow along via live stats and streaming.
