Lewis and Leveau Finish Top 30 at Jan Weaver Invitational

Murray, Ky. – With a pair of golfers finishing among the top 30, the Georgia State women's golf team finished in eighth place at 19th annual Jan Weaver Invitational at Miller Memorial Golf Course on Saturday.

Senior Courtney Lewis and freshman Mahina Leveau tied for 28th place at 16-over par for the 54-hole event. Lewis shot a final round 80, while Leveau led the Panthers with a 77.

As a team, Georgia State shot a final round 317 to finish the two-day event at 67-over par. Host Murray State earned the team title at 34-over par, while Bradley's Taylor Ledwein earned low medalist honors at even par for a three-stroke win.

This marked Georgia State's final event of the regular season. The Panthers will now prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Championship in just over a week.
