Lewis and Leveau Finish Top 30 at Jan Weaver Invitational

Murray, Ky. – With a pair of golfers finishing among the top 30, the Georgia State women's golf team finished in eighth place at 19^th annual Jan Weaver Invitational at Miller Memorial Golf Course on Saturday.

Senior Courtney Lewis and freshman Mahina Leveau tied for 28^th place at 16-over par for the 54-hole event. Lewis shot a final round 80, while Leveau led the Panthers with a 77.

As a team, Georgia State shot a final round 317 to finish the two-day event at 67-over par. Host Murray State earned the team title at 34-over par, while Bradley's Taylor Ledwein earned low medalist honors at even par for a three-stroke win.

This marked Georgia State's final event of the regular season. The Panthers will now prepare for the Sun Belt Conference Championship in just over a week.
