ATLANTA – After a few weeks without competition, Georgia State (0-3) returns to the courts for a Monday afternoon meeting at Charleston Southern (1-0). This marks the third consecutive road contest for GSU this season.
The Panthers return to the court after a tough slate of competition to open the 2021 campaign. The young season is highlighted by a 6-3 result from doubles pair, Eva Chivu and Andreea Stanescu, over No. 26 McCartney Kessler and Marlee Zein of Florida. Angel Carney leads the Panthers in singles action, registering a 6-2, 6-3 victory on court three over Liberty in the season opener
Charleston Southern's lone contest this season resulted in a 4-3 decision over Georgia Southern. During last year's shortened campaign, the Buccaneers notched a 5-5 record.
