Women's Golf 'Virtual' Senior Day

As part of a series honoring our senior class, today we take a look at the two members of the Georgia State women's golf team who would have hopefully continued their season at the NCAA Championship that would have been wrapping up this week.

Harmanprit Kaur and Lexie Newhouse each spent the last four years as members of the Panthers. Here is a look back at their careers as we honor them for Senior Day.

Harmanprit Kaur
Harmanprit Kaur finished her four-year career competing in 36 events, including 103 rounds, while earning 15 top 20 finishes. Among her best finishes was a third-place result at the 2019 Amelia Island Collegiate where she shot a career-best 67, before following it up with a tie for fourth at the 2019 River Landing Classic weeks later. In the classroom she earned Dean's List recognition three times and Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognition twice. She earned All-Sun Belt Second Team honors in 2017 after compiling a 75.58 scoring average and leading the Panthers with six top 25 finishes including a pair of top 10 results.

Lexie Newhouse
A four-year walk-on, Lexie Newhouse may never have competed in an event for the Panthers, however, she made up for it as a student. From being accepted into and working in the Honors College as a relations assistant and student ambassador, working as a graphic design intern in Athletics and being inducted into the 1913 Society as a Presidential Ambassador, Newhouse has left her mark at Georgia State.
