ATLANTA- After ten matches on the road to begin the 2020 season, Georgia State women's tennis will finally have home matches as they take on Kennesaw State and Clark Atlanta on Friday at the GSU Clarkston Campus.Â
First serve is slated for 10:00 a.m. when GSU (2-8) takes on Kennesaw State (2-8). KenIn the afternoon session, the Panthers will battle Clark Atlanta (2-1). The Clark Atlanta Panthers are the reigning SIAC tournament champions. Â
Through ten matches, the Panthers have been led by sophomores
Andreea Stanescu and
Eva Chivu. Stanescu leads the team with six wins in singles action. Chivu has earned two wins over ranked opposition once at Auburn and again during a neutral site match with VCU.Â
The Panthers will have an action packed weekend. After the doubleheader, GSU will travel down the road for a meeting with Mercer Saturday afternoon. Live stats for the home matches can be found via the links on the schedule page.Â
