DES MOINES, Iowa- Georgia State's women's tennis (2-4) fell to William & Mary 4-1 Saturday afternoon in a neutral site match. This contest marked the Panther's third neutral site competition of the season.

Angel Carney picked up a quick win on court one in doubles play. William & Mary would tie the effort with a win on court 3. With the doubles point on the line,
Mara Pop and
Aleksandra Stromova took their match to a tiebreaker, but were outlasted by the Tribe.
Andreea Stanescu tied the match 1-1 with a win in straight sets, marking her fourth win in the fifth position. The Tribe would regain the lead with a 7-5, 6-3 win against freshman
Angel Carney on court three.
Although Chivu and Stromova were fighting in three setters on their respective courts, the Tribe would quickly close the match on the remaining courts. Muminovic fell in a three setter on court 2, while Pop fell 7-6, 6-0 in the second position.
