AUBURN, Ala. – Georgia State men's tennis fell to Auburn 4-1 Friday afternoon at the Yarbrough Tennis Center.

Auburn (8-3) was awarded the first point of the day after taking wins on courts one and three in doubles competition. GSU (1-6) was able to secure a 7-5 victory at the No. 2 position from Quentin Coulaud/Kevin Huynh but saw undefeated duo Andrei Duarte/Roberts Grinvalds take their first loss of the dual season 7-6 (7-3) on the deciding court.

The Tigers locked in wins on courts two, one and four to earn the team victory. Georgia State's lone point of the afternoon came from Bailey Showers, who notched a 6-4, 6-3 win on court six.

The Panthers are back in action Feb. 22 for their home opener against FAU at the GSU Clarkston Courts.
