TUCSON -- One of the highlights of Georgia State's second day at the NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl, was a visit to a local children's hospital.
Team members, along with the GSU spirit squad and Pounce, brought some cheer to the children at Diamond Children's Medical Center.
Â
The Panthers also held their first practice in Arizona, and quarterback
Dan Ellington visited with the media after the workout at a local high school.
Â
After practice, the Panthers had a chance to visit the always-popular gift suite.
Â
The day concluded with a players' event at Old Tucson, a movie set where numerous classic Westerns have been filmed. Both teams attended and watched a bull-riding display.
Â
Georgia State and Wyoming will square off Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. ET at Arizona Stadium. In preparation, both teams will get their first look at the venue with walk-throughs in the stadium on Monday.Â
