MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – Led by a 72 from Solene Le Coz, Georgia State shot a second round 307 to stand tied for fourth entering the final round of the Sun Belt Conference Championship on Tuesday at The Raven Golf Club.

Le Coz made a birdie and a pair of bogeys to sit at 11-over par and alone in 13th place with 18 holes to play after opening with an 81 in windy conditions.

First round leader Jemima Gregson shot a second round 7-over 78 and now stands tied for fifth at 9-over par. The sophomore opened the event with a 73 on Sunday.

The Panthers are tied with in-state rival Georgia Southern at 50-over par, but just eight strokes out of second place with 18 holes to play. Texas State leads the field of nine at 30-over, with Troy in second at 42-over. Little Rock is third at 45-over par.

“Solene played really well today,” head coach Cathy Mant said. “She finished strong and putted well. Jemima and Jooeun really fought hard. I think nerves played into Jemima's round as she has never been in that situation before. However, she, and the entire team are determined to put together a great round on Tuesday and see how high we can finish.”

Junior Jooeun Bae shot a second round 5-over 76 and is tied for 22nd at 15-over, while sophomore Paula Zabarte is tied for 37th at 22-over following a 81 on Monday. Sophomore Yasemin Sari rounded out the Panthers line-up, struggling with a 96 to fall into 42nd place at 30-over.

Texas State's Raksha Phadke leads the field of 45 golfers at 2-over par following a 1-under 70 on Monday. Little Rock's Shania Berger is second at 4-over, followed by Texas State's Maty Monzingo in third at 5-over. Georgia Southern's Yeji Shin is fourth at 8-over, with a group of four golfers at 9-over, including Gregson, Texas State's Lora Assad, Arkansas State's Aracelly Jimenez Rios and Troy's Bianca Lohbauer.
