Sari made a pair of birdies during the first day of play and stands just four strokes off the lead as no golfer broke par.

“As evident from the scores, the course played tough today,” head coach Cathy Mant said. “Although we are disappointed by our scores, the field is tightly bunched together and with one good round, we could make a huge jump up the leaderboard. We will look forward to getting back on the course on Monday to see what we can do.”
