Georgia State's men's tennis team went 3-3 in doubles and 3-4 in singles at the Georgia Southern Invitational and Jannis Koeke and Felipe Jaworski fell in their contests at Georgia's Bulldog Scramble.

Sofiane Chevallier and his doubles partner, Zack Kennedy, continued to impress this fall season with two more wins on Saturday to improve to 11-4 in the fall.  The two one each of their respective singles contests on Saturday as well as Chevallier knocked off College of Charleton's Charlie Ghriskey in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5. Kennedy swept Georgia Southern's Albert Codina Sala in straight sets, only dropping one game to the Eagle.

Chinmay Handa and Valentin Horvat split their doubles matches and Eric Baum snapped a four-match losing streak with his three-set win on Saturday. Baum lost the first set to Georgia Southern's Dani Casablancas, but rallied to win 6-4, 6-3 in the final two frames.

In Athens, Ga. at the Bulldog Scramble, it was a tough day for Koeke and Jaworski. The duo lost in their doubles match in tiebreaks 8-7 (3) and both players dropped their respective singles contests on Day 2.

Both events will wrap up on Sunday in what is the last weekend of play in the fall for the Panthers.
