Georgia State women's golf finished the second round of the UNCG Starmount Classic with their second consecutive 301 (+17) to post a two day total of +34. The Panthers are in fourth going into tomorrow's final round.
Anna Scott remains in contention in her first tournament back from an elbow injury after firing a 75 on day two to put her at +5 for the tournament. Scott is currently tied for sixth.
Cathrine Madsen, putting together her best tournament of the year thus far, responded to yesterday's 73 with a 74 (+3) that positions her tied with Scott.
The low round of the day for the Panthers belongs to Sandra Maier as she posted a 73 (+2) to pick up eleven spots on the leaderboard, moving to a tie for 11th. Maier is +7 for the tournament.
Nicole Loesch shot a 79 (+8), and Claire Starkie rounded out the day for the Panthers with an 80 (+9). 
Abby Bools continues to lead individually, shooting a second round 75 to stand at one-over for the tournament. A foursome of golfers are tied for second, including Illinois State's Stacey Miller, UNC-Wilmington's Ashley Tait and teammates Ashley Parrott and Annelie Weimenhog from UNC-Greensboro.
Host UNC-Greensboro leads heading into the final round at 23-over par. East Carolina stands two strokes back at 25-over, while CAA rival UNC-Wilmington is third at 26-over. Florida International rounds out the top five at 39-over.
