ATLANTA-- Georgia State Men's Basketball announces its complete schedule for the 2024-25 season, the third season under the leadership of head coach Jonas Hayes.

The Panthers open their season with an exciting home game against Ball State on Nov. 4 as part of the SBC-MAC Challenge. As part of the SBC-MAC Challenge, the Panthers will travel to another MAC competitor on Feb. 8, 2025. The opponent of this matchup will be released at a later date. 

The non-conference slate includes key road games at Mississippi State (Nov. 8) and Jacksonville State (Nov.  13), as well as notable home contests against Toccoa Falls (Nov. 18) and North Carolina Central (Nov. 22). The team will also participate in the Jacksonville Classic Tournament on Nov. 26-27 in Jacksonville, Fla.

The Panthers close out November facing a high-profile opponent in Kentucky on Nov. 29.

December will bring additional home games against Kennesaw State on Dec. 6 and Charlotte on Dec. 14, followed by a road matchup at Auburn on Dec. 17.

The Panthers will close out their non-conference play with a home game against Mercer on Dec. 28.

Conference play kicks off with a road game at Troy on Dec. 21. Georgia State will return to home action against South Alabama on Jan. 2, followed by a matchup with Louisiana on Jan. 4. The Panthers' game against in-state rival Georgia Southern on Jan. 8 promises to be a season highlight.

The schedule features a strong mix of home and road games, including key matchups against Coastal Carolina (Jan. 11), Texas State (Jan. 15) and Arkansas State (Jan. 18). Georgia State will host Marshall (Jan. 23) and James Madison (Jan. 25), before rematching Marshall (Jan. 30) and visiting Appalachian State (Feb. 1).

As the season progresses, the Panthers will host ULM on Feb. 5, Old Dominion on Feb. 13 and Appalachian State on Feb. 15. The final stretch of the regular season includes road games at James Madison (Feb. 20), Old Dominion (Feb. 22), Coastal Carolina (Feb. 26) and concludes at Georgia Southern (Feb. 28).
