ATLANTA— Georgia State head coach Jon Cremins announced his inaugural roster for the 2026-27 season, welcoming a new-look group to Atlanta featuring 11 veteran transfers, three freshmen and one returning Panther.
Cremins' first Georgia State roster features an experienced group with 11 transfers joining the program, including four fifth-year players, as the Panthers prepare for a new era under the first-year head coach.
Chris Jones is the lone returner from Georgia State's 2025-26 roster. Jones appeared in 19 games off the bench last season, averaging 2.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.
The Panthers also welcome three freshmen to Atlanta in
Owen Augunas, Shiloh Fisher and
Keeper Jackson. The trio will begin their collegiate careers at Georgia State as part of Cremins' first recruiting class.
Experience will be a defining feature of the roster, with 11 transfers joining the Panthers from across the college basketball landscape. Four of those newcomers enter Georgia State as fifth-year players, including
Terrance Dixon Jr. (Southern University),
Mason Nicholson (Vanderbilt),
Eric Parnell (Farleigh Dickson) and
AJ Smith (Temple).
In total, 14 of the 15 players on Georgia State's 2026-27 roster are newcomers to the program.
Cremins was named Georgia State's head coach in 2026, returning to Atlanta to lead the Panthers. His inaugural roster marks the first step in building the program as Georgia State prepares for the 2026-27 season.
