ATLANTA-- Georgia State University is proud to announce that the Panthers' court volleyball teams has earned the 2024 AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT.
This accolade underscores the team's commitment to excellence on the court and in the classroom, highlighting Georgia State's dedication to fostering academic and athletic achievement among its student-athletes.
The AVCA Team Academic Award recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball teams that have maintained a high standard of academic excellence during the school year by achieving a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.30 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
This year, the GSU Court Volleyball finished the year with a team GPA of 3.47 to earn AVCA academic honors.
Throughout the 2023-2024 academic year, the Georgia State beach and court volleyball teams demonstrated exceptional academic prowess while competing at the highest level in collegiate athletics.
