ATLANTA— Nine members of the Georgia State were named to the Athlon Sports Pre-Season All-Sun Belt Team, Athlon sports announced on Tuesday afternoon. 
 
Redshirt senior Gavin Pringle led the Panthers after earning All-Sun Belt first-team defense honors for the 2024 Athlon Sports Pre-Season All-Conference polls. After his first season as a Panther, Pringle was named to the All-Sun Belt third team in 2023 after leading the team and tying the Sun Belt lead with four interceptions, one behind the GSU season record. 
 
In addition to Pringle's first-team honors, three Georgia State football players earned second-team defense honors, two earned third-team offense, two earned fourth-team offence and one earned fourth-team defense.
