ATLANTA, GA-- After scoring four victories on the weekend, Freshman Francesca Miglio is the Sun Belt women's tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Wednesday afternoon. 

Miglio went 4-0 on the weekend collecting two doubles victories and two singles victories. The Genova, Italy native started the weekend with a singles win over South Alabama (6-3, 6-3), before taking a 6-0 advantage over south Alabama, along side her partner Maria Peredes. 

After taking a 2-0 victory in her matches against South Alabama, Miglio scored wins in singles and doubles to help lead the Panthers to a 4-2 win over Southern Miss. The freshman notched a two-set win (6-2, 7-5) in her singles match, and worked alongside partner Peredes to take a 6-0 win over the Golden Eagles. 

Miglio and the Panthers continue conference play against Troy on March 30 at 10:00 a.m.
