ATLANTA, GA. - Junior Maria Paredes earns a post-season All-Sun Belt award, the Sun Belt Conference announced on Wednesday afternoon. 

Paredes earned Singles All-Sun Belt Second team after being a key contributor to Panthers during the 2024-25 season. The junior played on line 1 for the Panthers throughout the season, finishing with an overall record of 6-5. In Sun Belt play, Paredes had a winning record of 4-3, with strong wins over Troy, South Alabama and James Madison.

Paredes looks to keep the Panthers' momentum going as they enter the Sun Belt Conference as the No. 8 seed. Georgia State will face No. 9 seeded Arkansas State on Thursday morning in Rome, Ga.
