ATLANTA — Georgia State Women's Tennis head coach LeTrone Mason has officially announced the Panthers' 2026 spring schedule, opening with a road trip to face a pair of SEC foes and closing with the Sun Belt Championships at home in Rome, Ga.
The Panthers first action of the spring will come in SEC territory when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala. to take on Alabama (Jan. 24) and Starkville, Miss. to take on Mississippi State (Jan. 25)
The team will close out January with a road trip to face UT Chattanooga (Jan. 30).
Over Valentine's Day weekend the Panthers will travel to see both ends of Florida, facing the University of South Florida (Feb. 14) in Tampa, and the University of North Florida (Feb. 15) in Jacksonville.
The team will see their first action at home on February 21 when they host non-conference foe Furman.
The Panthers will take on three opponents in three days when they visit Tallahassee, Fla., seeing action against Florida State (Feb. 27), Florida Gulf Coast (Feb. 28), and Florida A&M (Mar. 1).
Georgia State sees their first Sun Belt Conference competition on March 7 when they welcome Coastal Carolina to their home court in Atlanta.
Following their conference opener, the Panthers will play four straight matches in the state of Alabama. They will take a road trip to visit Alabama A&M (Mar. 14) in Huntsville and Alabama State (Mar. 15) in Montgomery. The following weekend they will take on Sun Belt foes Troy (Mar. 21) and Texas State (Mar. 22) in Troy, Ala.
The team's first mid-week action of the season will come on March 26, when the Panthers host non-conference foe Middle Tennessee State in Atlanta.
The Panthers close out their non-conference slate when they host Louisiana Tech (Apr. 11) and return to Alabama for a showdown with Jacksonville State (Apr. 12)
The team closes out the regular season against conference foe Appalachian State (Apr. 18), before awaiting their seeding in the Sun Belt Championships, which will be played at their home facility in Rome, Ga, April 22-26.
