MOBILE, ALA -- Georgia State football standouts
Jontrey Hunter and
Travis Glover will compete in Saturday's Reese's Senior Bowl, the prestigious all-star game held annually in Mobile, Ala. The Reese's Senior Bowl kicks off at 1 p.m. ET at Hancock Whitney Stadium and will be televised on the NFL Network.
Hunter, the linebacker from Tampa, Fla., and Glover, the offensive tackle from Vienna, Ga., are the third and fourth Panthers chosen for the Senior Bowl, following Chandon Sullivan in 2018 and Penny Hart in 2019.
Glover, who also participated in the 2024 Caribe Royale Orlando Hula Bowl on Jan. 13, earned a later invitation to the Senior Bowl following an injury to another player.
Former Panther wide receiver Jamari Thrash, who finished his career at Louisville, is also competing in the 2024 Reese's Senior Bowl.
In addition, Georgia State quarterback
Darren Grainger participated in the Tropical Bowl in Orlando and was named the Offensive MVP for Team American.
