ATLANTA, GA— The Georgia State softball team set dates for the 2024 season, highlighting 30 home matchups, head coach Angie Nicholson announced on Thursday.
The Panthers are set to host 12 conference games, including homesteads against App State, Marshall, South Alabama and ULM. GSU will also face home-state competitions, hosting Mercer and traveling to No. 16 Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern and Kenensaw State.
Nicholson enters her third season with the Panthers, returning 11 players and adding four newcomers to the 2024 roster. Pitcher Hallie Adams and senior catcher Chloe Nadler, who tallied seven home runs and 26 RBIs during the 2023 season, are expected to lead the Panthers at the plate.
The Panthers kick off their season on the road in the UCF Black and Gold Classic Feb. 9-11. Following, GSU returns home for the Panther Invitational Feb. 16-18, hosting Butler, Belmont and South Dakota.
