25 Women's Soccer Players Earn Academic Honors

ATLANTA – With an undefeated spring season (6-0) to follow a successful fall season (9-4-7), the Georgia State women's soccer team has looked extremely impressive of late, a superlative which extends to their academic performance as well.

The team held an overall 3.52 GPA for the spring semester, making them among the eight distinguished GSU teams with a team grade point average north of 3.45.

The team boasts twenty-five members who earned academic honors- nine members of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, sixteen members of the Dean's List, and seven members of the President's List, indicating an exemplary semester for the thirty-three women roster.

President's List honors (a GPA of 4.0+) were bestowed to Maria Howell, Maddie Johnston, Izzy Laurita, Jess Martinez, Jolie Ryff, Mia Wood, and Brisa Zavala.

Dean's List members (a GPA of 3.5+) include Gabby West, Maria Subies, Callee Maughon, Grace Kiser, Brooke Hart, Ana Diaz, Gracen Crosby, Bree Barley, and Maria Andujar.

AD Honor Roll members (a GPA of 3.0+) include Emily Burke, Jimena Cabrero, Brooklynn Fugel, Kamree Holloway, Kelsee Holloway, Meagan McInerney, Alondra Nieves, Sophie Schweizer, and Chloe Thompson.

Looking forward to next season, the GSU women's soccer team looks primed to excel, both in the classroom and on the field.
