Jonas Hayes Introduced as Georgia State Head Coach

Jonas Hayes was formally introduced as Georgia State's 16th head men's basketball coach by President M. Brian Blake and Director of Athletics Charlie Cobb Monday at a press conference attended by numerous media as well as Panther fans.

Hayes opened his remarks by saying, "I'd like to thank President Blake and Charlie Cobb for this opportunity to lead, inspire, motivate a group of young men to achieve more.
 
"My interest in this job goes way back to the Lefty Driesell era, when we used to play pickup ball at the Sports Arena. What he did was paint a picture of what is possible at THE Georgia State University. We're going to try to capture that and achieve more."

Hayes also addressed his style of play.
