Richardson Named GSU Student-Athlete of the Week

ATLANTA -- Bailee Richardson is this week's GSU Student-Athlete of the Week after hitting a pair of home runs in the Panthers' three-game series against Georgia Southern.

Richardson started off the series Thursday with a home run in the first game. She finished the game 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored.

She stayed hot during both games in Friday's doubleheader, going 3-for-4 with a home run in Game 1 and 1-for-4 with a run scored in Game 2.

Richardson and the Panthers face Georgia Southern for the fourth straight game Tuesday at the Sun Belt Championship in Troy. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
