Hess Looks to Stay Hot as Panthers Host Louisiana

ATLANTA -- Hot-hitting Daisy Hess and the Georgia State Panthers welcome No. 16/17 Louisiana to the Bob Heck Softball Complex Friday and Saturday for a three-game Sun Belt series.

The Panthers and Ragin' Cajuns will play a doubleheader Friday at 1 p.m. followed by the series finale Saturday at 1 p.m.

Hess is riding a six-game hit streak and nine-game on-base streak as GSU continues its conference schedule. Her 33 RBI leads the Sun Belt and ranks 15th nationally. She also leads the conference in home runs with eight and total bases at 68. 

Admission to the Bob Heck Softball Complex is free. Georgia State Athletics asks that visitors adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols as directed by the CDC and the Sun Belt Conference including wearing a mask and social distancing.
