ATLANTA - The Panther Insider Podcast Driven by Ford returns for Episode 59 as we welcome Georgia State senior Shamarious Gilmore to the podcast. Gilmore joins the Voice of the Panthers Dave Cohen to talk about returning for another season with the Georgia State football team and what he hopes to accomplish in 2021.
Gilmore, a 2020 team captain, has earned All-Sun Belt honors four times in his career. Last year he was the top offensive lineman on a unit that averaged a school-record 33.3 points per game, along with 424.3 yards of total offense. Gilmore helped Georgia State rank No. 13 in FBS in fewest sacks allowed. Before the season, Gilmore was named a Preseason first-team All-Sun Belt selection by the Sun Belt coaches/media, Athlon Sports and Phil Steele. He was also named to the Preseason Watch List for the Outland Trophy.
