Home Stretch Continues Tuesday and Wednesday vs. Texas State

ATLANTA -- Georgia State will play the final three games of an eight-game home stretch Tuesday and Wednesday vs. Texas State at the Bob Heck Softball Complex.

GSU and Texas State will play a doubleheader Tuesday at 2 and 4 p.m., and the series finale Wednesday at 3 p.m.

The Panthers sit at 12-11 and 0-3 in the Sun Belt while the Bobcats are 17-3 and 2-0 in conference play.

Daisy Hess continues to lead the offense for GSU. The shortstop leads the Sun Belt and ranks 15th in the country with 29 RBI. She also ranks 23rd in NCAA D-I with 8 doubles and is second in the Sun Belt in total bases with 55. As a team, GSU is second in the SBC and 23rd in the country with 81 walks this season.

Fans are permitted at the Heck Softball Complex. Georgia State Athletics asks that visitors adhere to Covid-19 safety protocols as directed by the CDC and the Sun Belt Conference including wearing a mask and social distancing.
