Eatonton, Ga. – Senior Josh Edgar shot a second round 70 to lead Georgia State following day two of the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters at Reynolds Plantation.
Edgar made three birdies and just one bogey to move up nearly 20 spots into a tie for 23rd on the leaderboard on Saturday. He will be looking for a second-straight top 10 finish when the tournament concludes on Sunday.
The Panthers shot a 9-over 297 on Saturday and moved into a tie for 13th place at 20-over par for the 54-hole event. Charlotte, one of just three teams under par, leads the 16-team field at 14-under par.
Georgia State is making its first appearance in the event since 2015 and has finished as high as second back in 2007.
