2019-20
Competed in all six events before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic . . . Compiled a 72.81 scoring average, second-lowest on the team and the 19th-lowest single season scoring average in school history, in 16 rounds, including two rounds in the 60’s and six of par or better . . . Garnered two top 15 finishes . . . Tied for 12th at the Marquette Intercollegiate at Erin Hills Golf Club shooting 74-73-68, with the 68 serving as a low round for the season . . . Tied for 26th at the GSU hosted Autotrader Collegiate Classic shooting 76-71-72 . . . Shot a final round 70 at the White Sands Intercollegiate . . . 2018-19
Competed in a team-high nine tournaments during the season compiling a 73.42 scoring average in 26 rounds of competition . . . Led the team with 12 rounds of par or better . . . Earned a career-best tie for third at the Tiger Invitational presented by Jason Dufner after shooting 68-70-75. The opening round 68 established a new career-best . . . Shot rounds of 70-71-72 to finish tied for 19th at the GSU-hosted Autotrader Collegiate Classic . . . Shot a final round 71 at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate . . . Finished the Furman Intercollegiate with rounds of 71 and 72 over the final two days . . . Shot book-end rounds of 72 at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational . . . 2017-18
Saw action in eight events as a sophomore, finishing as the top finisher in a pair of events . . . Finished year with a 75.29 scoring average in 24 rounds of competition, including a 74.50 mark in the spring . . . Shot a 71 in the second round of the GSU-hosted Autotrader Collegiate Classic en route to a 35th-place finish . . . Finished as the top GSU performer at the All-American Intercollegiate tying for 35th after rounds of 75-69-71 . . . Shot rounds of 72 and 70 to finish the Tiger Invitational helping GSU to a second-place finish . . . Shot a final round 69 at The Hootie at Bulls Bay en route to a 35th-place finish . . . 2016-17
Competed in seven tournaments as a freshman, playing in 21 rounds and compiling a 75.05 scoring average . . . Began career with an even-par 72 at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate . . . Shot a second round 1-under 71 at the GSU-hosted AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic en route to a tie for 51st . . . Shot a final round 73 to finish 28th at the Georgia Southern Collegiate . . . Earned a career-best tie for 12th at the Mobile Intercollegiate with rounds of 74-74-75 . . . Shot a final round 73 to conclude the spring at the 3M Augusta Invitational.

2015 Wesley House Captain at Emmanuel College and earned the 2015 Gold Award for Leadership . . . Earned the 2015 Silver Medal for Excellence and was also the 2015 Year 12 and Overall School Spokesperson of the Year.

Amateur
Prior to entering college, was ranked among the top 100 junior golfers in Australia after making the South Coast Regional U19’s Schools Golf Team for the third year in a row . . . Won the 2015 Surfers Paradise Golf Club Junior by seven shots with rounds of 72, 72, 64 and 76 and 2014 Senior Match play Champion . . . In 2014, finished runner-up in the U18 division in the GCDGA Age Championship with a score of 72 and 16th in the Burleigh Cup . . . Won the 2015 Queensland Men’s Interdistrict Team Championship . . . Finished in the top 40 at the Victorian Junior Masters and was selected to the Gold Coast District Junior Golf Team for the fourth year in a row . . . In 2014, finished third in the Jon Norton Points Series and won the Burleigh Junior Classic . . . Also finished Equal first at the Adam Scott Junior Classic at Sanctuary Cove which included a 1-under 71 . . . Earned a tie for second in the 2015 Te Marau Masters in New Zealand, along with fifth at the 2015 Royal Queensland Junior Open.

Josh Martin Edgar was born August 12, 1997 in Hamilton, New Zealand . . . He is the son of Jan and Tony Edgar . . . Has two younger sisters, Lisa and Brianna . . . His uncle Jim Curtin is one of the top 10 harness racing drives in New Zealand . . . The multi-sport athlete has also competed in rugby and cross country.
