AUGUSTA, Ga. – Georgia State men's golf wrapped up play at the Augusta Jaguar Fall Invitational on Tuesday, finishing tied for fifth at Forest Hills Golf Club.

The Panthers carded a 2-over 290 in the final round to finish alongside Francis Marion in fifth place. Cameron Jackson led the Georgia State lineup, firing a 2-under 70 in the final round to finish tied for 15th individually. Jackson's performance was one of two under-par rounds from Panthers competing in the team lineup.

Hugh Hollingsworth followed closely behind, shooting a 1-under 71 to finish tied for 21st. Griffin Latimer carded a 1-over 73 and finished tied for 32nd, while Matthew Calhoun shot a 5-over 77 to tie for 42nd. Cade O'Connell rounded out the Panthers' lineup with a 4-over 76, finishing 52nd.

Georgia State also had three Panthers competing as individuals. Archie Cook led the group with a 2-under 70 and tied Hollingsworth for 21st. Cooper Cassidy shot a 3-over 75 to finish tied for 45th, while James Baxter finished tied for 55th following an 8-over 80.

The tournament was contested on the par-72, 7,086-yard Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta.

The Panthers return to action Sept. 6-8 at the Golfweek Invitational in Pawleys Island, S.C..
