ATLANTA – Georgia State men's basketball head coach
Rob Lanier, who will be entering his second year at the helm of the Panthers in 2020-21, will be among an impressive group headlining Mentoring 360, a free, virtual coaching town hall organized by George Washington men's basketball head coach Jamion Christian and his coaching staff.
The virtual event takes place on Wednesday, July 1 from 9 am-9 pm on CoachTube.com.
360 Mentoring is a broad-based symposium that will bring some of the brightest and most experienced minds to a platform where they can share their knowledge. 360 Mentoring will feature a variety of hour-long panels, allowing participants to hear from leaders in higher education, including prominent African-American coaches, sports administrators, and representatives from search firms, plus other industry experts.
"I applaud Jamion and his staff for putting together something so comprehensive and assembling such a strong collection leaders," Lanier said. "It is a great platform for those with experience to share and learn. I'm honored to have the opportunity to participate."
Coach Lanier will be a part of a group that includes Kevin Broadus, Paul Hewitt, Jimmy Hicks, and Kevin Nickelberry discussing the topic of battling stigmas at 3 p.m.
