Wright Signed to LA Rams Practice Squad

Former Georgia State punter-placekicker Brandon Wright was signed to the Los Angeles Rams practice squad, the NFL club announced Tuesday.

Wright, the Atlanta native who starred for the Panthers from 2016-19, made his NFL debut earlier this season as a placekicker for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Wright is one of eight former GSU standouts who have played at least one game in the NFL, including six Panther Pros who are active this season.

WR Penny Hart (GSU 2015-18), Seattle Seahawks (2nd NFL season) - Made his first NFL catch last weekend vs. the NY Jets.

PK Wil Lutz (GSU 2012-15), New Orleans Saints (5th NFL season) - One of the NFL's top kickers who made the Pro Bowl in 2019.

CB Chandon Sullivan (GSU 2014-17), Green Bay Packers (3rd NFL season) - Enjoying a strong season in the Packers secondary.
