ATLANTA – The Georgia State football program has finalized three future non-conference matchups, adding two contests to its 2027 schedule and one for the 2028 season.
The Panthers are set to open the 2027 campaign at home against the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Center Parc Credit Union Stadium. The meeting marks the first confirmed non-conference contest for Georgia State's 2027 season and the first time in program history that the Panthers will compete against the Bulldogs.
Later that year, Georgia State will travel to face Clemson on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2027, at Memorial Stadium. The matchup marks the second time the Panthers and Tigers will meet on the football field.
Georgia State has also secured a high-profile season opener for 2028, scheduling a road contest against the Alabama Crimson Tide football at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Sept. 2, 2028. The Panthers and Tide will meet for the third time in program history.
Additional game times and broadcast information for all contests will be announced at a later date.
