Hometown: I was born and raised in Carrollton.

When did you start playing basketball? Seventh grade

Why Georgia State? I came to GSU a few times for tournaments in high school and stuff and I had been telling my high school coach I wanted to come here. I'm still really close with my high school coach and one day, before a tournament game while I was at Southern Union, he called and told me Coach Hill was going to be at my game. I was nervous but I played pretty well. A few weeks later I came for a visit and knew this was the place. I like the campus and all the different food options.

Pre-game Music: Lil Baby, DaBaby, NBA Youngboy, Young Nudy

Hobbies outside of basketball? My friends and I used to go bowling all the time (before Covid). If there wasn't anything to do we'd just go bowling. I enjoy it.

Favorite TV show: Greenleaf

Favorite Movie: Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins

Fun Fact: I was born with one kidney.

Rakeah Williams

Major: Media Entrepreneurship

Career goals: Want to own my own business once I graduate. When I was younger I wanted to create athletic gear for women. A lot of younger female athletes have to wear men's clothing.

Workout Music: Lil Baby – Whoa

Netflix Shows: Prison Break, Orange is the New Black

Favorite food: Seafood

Best Dancer on the team: Tehya Lyons

Who is your hero? My mom. When I was in ninth grade, my mom had cancer and she couldn’t come to my games. One game I came out to the court for warm-ups and I saw her in the crowd. She had just shaved her head and it was the first time I had seen her without her hair. She put everything aside to come see me play. I was overwhelmed and inspired at the same time. She's Superwoman.

#35 | Hannah Sadler | Lilburn, Ga.
