Grayer Announces 2026-27 Slate

ATLANTA – Georgia State women's basketball head coach Marcilina Grayer has announced the Panthers' 2026-27 schedule, featuring a challenging non-conference slate and a full Sun Belt Conference lineup. 

Georgia State opens the season with a two-game road trip, beginning Nov. 2 in Buffalo, N.Y., where the Panthers face Buffalo as part of the Sun Belt-MAC Challenge. The road trip continues Nov. 6 with a matchup at UNC Asheville. 

The Panthers host Wofford (Nov. 8) and Toccoa Falls (Nov. 11) for the first home showing before heading up the road to Georgia Tech (Nov. 15). 

Georgia State will then host a three-day Thanksgiving Multi-Team Event beginning Nov. 23, welcoming Chattanooga and St. Bonaventure to the Convocation Center for three games. After hosting a neutral-site game between Chattanooga and St. Bonaventure on Nov. 23, the Panthers will face St. Bonaventure on Nov. 24 before closing out the MTE against Chattanooga on Nov. 25.  

A three-game road swing follows, starting in Nashville, Tenn., against Vanderbilt (Nov. 29), continuing out west to face Grand Canyon in Phoenix, Ariz. (Dec. 3), and wrapping up back in Tennessee against the Volunteers in Knoxville (Dec. 6). 

The Panthers close out non-conference play at home against Furman (Dec. 12) before Sun Belt play begins. 

Georgia State opens Sun Belt action on Dec. 16 with a trip to Coastal Carolina, followed by its home conference opener against Troy on Dec. 19. 

The Panthers close out the calendar year on the road, traveling to South Alabama (Dec. 31) and Louisiana (Jan. 2). 

Georgia State returns to the Convocation Center for matchups against Arkansas State (Jan. 7) and ULM (Jan. 9) before heading back out to face Marshall (Jan. 14) and App State (Jan. 16). 

A four-game homestand follows, featuring Coastal Carolina (Jan. 20), James Madison (Jan. 23), Old Dominion (Jan. 27) and Georgia Southern (Jan. 30). 

February opens with a busy road-and-home stretch as the Panthers travel to James Madison (Feb. 3), return home to host the second leg of the Sun Belt-MAC Challenge at the Convocation Center (Feb. 6), then hit the road again to face Georgia Southern (Feb. 10) and Old Dominion (Feb. 13). 

Georgia State wraps up the regular season with home games against App State (Feb. 17) and Marshall (Feb. 20) before closing out conference play at Southern Miss (Feb. 26). 

The Sun Belt Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 3-8 in Pensacola, Fla.
