ATLANTA -- "Being more than just an athlete is very important to me," says Terry Thomas, senior defensive end for the Georgia State football team as well as a student in the Georgia State Honors College majoring in biological science.
Last season, Thomas was an honorable mention All-Sun Belt Conference selection for his play on the field, and a member of the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District team for his work in the classroom.
He is also active on the GSU campus as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and the 1913 Society, and he volunteers for community service.
