The team is currently 1-1-2 early in the season, with two matches ending in a 0-0 draw. The Panthers are looking to bounce back from a draw against Jacksonville State and pull above .500 with just a few non-conference matches to play.

This will be the final weekend for full non-conference play, with Georgia State opening up its Sun Belt schedule at UL Lafayette on Sept. 16.

Junior Brie Haynes is leading the defensive effort, coming within three saves of her single-game record in two games. On the offensive side of the ball, seniors Callie O'Connor and Alexis Thomas are leading the team in shots. Both student-athletes have scored a goal, with O'Connor having 11 shots and Thomas having eight.
