* No. T-67 Georgia State (4-2) defeated No. T-67 Winthrop 5-2 on Saturday.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Georgia State's women's tennis team earned a 5-2 win on Saturday against ranked Winthrop in Raleigh, N.C. The Panthers improve to 4-2 on the season and will face North Carolina State on Sunday.
GSU's top doubles team, No. 40 Linn Timmermann and Tarani Kamoe, sealed the doubles point for Georgia State with a 6-4 win. After losing their first dual match of the season, Kamoe and Timmermann have won three straight. The Panthers lost at No. 2 doubles, but won by default at No. 3.
Winthrop recorded wins at the top two singles positions to earn two points in the match. Georgia State swept the next four singles matches to earn the 5-2 win. Four of the singles contests went to three sets, showing off the even competition between the two sides, both ranked No. 67 by the ITA. Both Chaimaa Roudami and Kristin Rehse edged out their opponents in three sets to help the Panthers to a victory.
Georgia State stays in Raleigh and will play North Carolina State on Sunday at 10 a.m. The match will be live-streamed here.
