Catherine Lee belts her record-breaking 13th homerun of the season, while Georgia State (28-12, 7-4 CAA) drops the final game of the Colonial Athletic Association series against Hofstra (27-10, 9-3 CAA), 15-2, on Sunday, April 13 at
Bob Heck Field.

Rachel Cunningham and
Rebecca Roles each had a hit for the Panthers, as did junior outfielder
Holly Willis. Right-hand pitcher
Ashley Cowan started the game for State, moving her record to 6-4.
Freshman pitcher
Alicia Mills (12-4) was physically unable to pitch for the Panthers during this series, due to health concerns.
Hofstra scored early in top of first when Casey Fee and Sara Michalowski combined back-to-back singles. With two on and one out, Courtney Oliver cleared the bases with her third homer of the season, giving the Pride a 3-0 lead.
Sophomore
Danielle Roddy drew a walk before freshman catcher Lee answered back in the bottom of the inning, belting her 13th homerun of the season, surpassing Katie Blue's ('03) single season record and putting the Panthers within one.
The Pride managed to produce 12 more runs over the course of four innings, as State fell scoreless through the remainder of the game. Stefanie Feinstein also hit a homerun for Hofstra, her first of the season.
Georgia State returns to action on Wednesday, April 16, when they travel to Greenville, S.C. for a doubleheader against Furman, beginning at 3 p.m.
