The Georgia State women's tennis team posted its fourth consecutive victory with a 6-1 win over Tennessee Tech on Sunday at the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center in Atlanta.
The host Panthers were led by singles wins from Martina Nitkova, Rachel Malina and Mateja Podgorsek. The doubles team of Malina and Emma-Stahl Johannson posted an 8-6 doubles win and the duo of Nitkova and Kiera Strickland claimed an 8-0 victory over the Ohio Valley Conference foe.
The 4-2 Panthers, building momentum with the four-game win streak since a loss to No. 69 Furman, will face UT-Chattanooga on Tuesday in Chattanooga. Coach Lisa Belcher's team is hoping to have No. 1 singles player Dariana Kozmina back from an injury to play in that match.
