Panthers women's tennis falls to USC-Upstate at Wofford

Spartanburg, S.C. - Sunday at the Wofford Invitational against the University of South Carolina-Upstate was not a good day for Georgia State women's tennis as the doubles team of junior Rachel Malina and freshman Emma Stahl-Johansson dropped their match. In singles action, Malina and junior Kiera Strickland were downed in their respective matches.

Hernandez, Lovera (USCU) def. Malina, Stahl-Johansson (GSU) 8-4

Singles
Hernandez (USCU) def. Malina (GSU) 7-5, 6-3
Lovera (USCU) def. Strickland (GSU) 6-4, 6-4

The Panthers will be in action next weekend (Sept. 22-24) at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Invitational in Chattanooga, Tenn. Matches being Friday morning and will conclude Sunday with finals.
