Kozmina continues dominance

Tuscaloosa, Ala. (10/19/06) - Georgia State women's tennis sophomore Dariana Kozmina extends her unbeaten streak to 10 with a decisive win over Alabama's Nicole Briceno in the A draw at the Wilson/ITA Fall South Regional Championships on Thursday at the Alabama Tennis Center in Tuscaloosa, Ala. hosted by the University of Alabama.  Sophomore Martina Nitkova was downed by Mississippi's Ilona Somers in three sets. 

Inclement weather limited the first day of the 2006 Wilson/ITA Fall South Regional Championships to only the first round of the flight A singles.  The second day of competition will open at 8 a.m. with the opening two rounds of doubles for flights A and B. It will be followed by the first round of the flight B singles and second round of both flights. The day will be capped off by the first round of consolation singles.
