Panthers Held to Draw Against West Florida

ATLANTA -- Georgia State men's soccer moved to 2-0-1 on the 2026-27 season after battling West Florida (0-3-1) to a 0-0 draw on Sunday afternoon at the GSU Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Georgia State dominated the offensive side of the field, outshooting the Argonauts 19 to 11 overall.  Finn Marchisen led Georgia State with nine saves.

Defender Joseph Ogwang anchored the pitch for Georgia State, playing the full 90 minutes while leading the Panthers attacking effort with four total shots, two on goal. Midfielder Virgil Dall'Agnol added three shots with one on goal before exiting in the 79th minute.

Leo Jaukovic and Emmanuel Amede came off the bench to provide GSU with a total of three shots on goal.  

Defending starters Kenny Yedmel and Joel Gonzalez played the entire 90 minutes, limiting the Argonauts scoring opportunities.
