NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Georgia State rallied from a two-goal hole, defeating Lipscomb 4-2 after trailing 2-0 on Wednesday, Sept. 2 on the road.
GSU improved their record to 3-0-1 overall after the victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Panthers were down 2-0 going into the second half. Kenny Yedmel answered by scoring his second goal of the season in the 50th minute, Virgil Dall'Agnol recorded his third assist of the season.
Georgia State tied it up in the 76th minute with a goal from Sandro Rabarivony, his second of the season. Brandon Graham assisted the goal.
Three minutes later, Emmanuel Amede scored his first goal of the season to put the Panthers ahead.
Sandro Rabarivony went on to score his second goal of the match in the 80th minute with an assist from David Martins-Jorge.
The Panthers were able to keep the Bison out of scoring position for the remaining 15 minutes of the game. Yverson Monongo-Kuangu helped defend the net, blocking a Bison shot in the 89th minute of the match.
