Gavin Pringle and
Kevin Swint were named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt teams, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Gavin Pringle was named to the Preseason All-Sun Belt first-team defense after an impressive first season with the Panthers in 2023. In addition to Pringle's first-team honors, the cornerback earned All-Sun Belt first-team defense honors for the 2024 Athlon Sports Pre-Season All-Conference polls. After his first season as a Panther, Pringle was named to the All-Sun Belt third team in 2023 after leading the team and tying the Sun Belt lead with four interceptions, one behind the GSU season record.
Joining Pringle in the Preseason polls, outside linebacker
Kevin Swint earned Preseason All-Sun Belt second team defense after a standout first season at Georgia State. The Clemson transfer earned honorable mention All-Sun Belt honors in his first season at GSU after sharing the team lead with eight tackles-for-loss while ranking second with four sacks in 11 games.
Pringle, Swint and the Panthers' football team kicks off the season under head coach Dell McGee at Georgia Tech on August 31 at 7:00 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.
