ATLANTA -- Georgia State's season-opening football game at Georgia Tech on Saturday, Aug. 31 will kick off at 8 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field, and the debut for GSU's first-year head coach Dell McGee will be televised on the ACC Network.
 
Kickoff times and television designations for the first three weeks of the 2024 season were announced today by the Sun Belt Conference.
 
After opening the season at Georgia Tech, Georgia State will host back-to-back home games at Center Parc Credit Union Stadium. The Panthers' home opener against Chattanooga on Saturday, Sept. 7 will kick off at 7 p.m. and air on ESPN+.
 
One week later, Georgia State hosts Vanderbilt, also at 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The Commodores will be the first Southeastern Conference team to visit Center Parc Credit Union Stadium.

Additionally, Georgia State's game at Marshall on Thursday, Oct. 17 has been set for an 8 p.m. kickoff and will be nationally televised on ESPN2, and the game at UConn on Friday, Nov. 1 will kick off at 7 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.
 
Remaining kickoff times and television networks for the 2024 season will be announced 12 days prior to each game.
