ATLANTA, -- Georgia State fell 0-2 to South Carolina on Friday, Oct. 11, at the GSU Soccer Complex. Despite a solid defensive effort in the first half, the Panthers conceded two second-half goals, with South Carolina breaking the deadlock in the 61st minute. Georgia State created scoring opportunities, with Braiden Hall leading the attack with four shots, two on goal, but the Panthers were unable to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Josh Hangi made five saves to keep Georgia State in the match, but a late goal in the 82nd minute sealed the win for South Carolina.
