Georgia State basketball standout Jay'Den Turner is the Center Parc Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Panthers to an impressive 90-76 Sun Belt Conference road win at South Alabama.

For the week, Turner recorded back-to-back double-doubles in a pair of Sun Belt road games, averaging 13.0 points and 10.5 rebounds while shooting 53 percent from the field.

In the win at South Alabama, Turner contributed 11 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high five steals. He opened the week with 15 points and 11 rebounds at Southern Miss.

The graduate transfer from High Point, N.C., has notched three straight double-doubles and is averaging 11.0 points and team-leading 8.4 rebounds on the season. He ranks sixth in the Sun Belt in rebounding.

Turner and the Panthers host a pair of Sun Belt games this week at the GSU Convocation Center. Old Dominion visits Thursday for a 7 p.m. game, and then the Panthers host their annual showdown with Georgia Southern Saturday at 5 p.m. For tickets, visit GeorgiaStateSports.com/tix.
