SPARTANBURG, SC --The Georgia State volleyball team could not beat a potent Terriers offense Friday on the road, losing to Wofford in three sets (15-25, 7-25, 16-25).
The non-conference loss moved Georgia State to 3-2 on the season.
Erin Wyatt finished with five kills on the day to lead the Panthers attack. GSU got 22 digs from Livy Kowalkowski to lead the defense.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Panthers found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-15. Georgia State trailed by as many as 10 points as Wofford grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was notted up just once before the Terriers took control.
SET 2 | Georgia State then dropped the second set 25-7 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Panthers lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Georgia State was not able to win set three and was swept by Wofford. The Panthers lost a tough set 25-16Â as Wofford grabbed the advantage for good at 4-3 in a set that was tied up just once before the Terriers took over the lead.
