Brett Surrency announces the 2023 slate for the men's soccer program with a new addition to an already elite Sun Belt Conference.

The Panthers joined the revamped Sun Belt Conference in 2022, making the SBC one of the best soccer conferences. The conference includes nationally ranked Kentucky and Marshall who made it to the NCAA tournament. In 2022 the Panthers ended the season in third, one point behind #6 Marshall with #5 Kentucky at the top of the conference.

Brett Surrency, the Panthers will open the 2023 regular season on August 24 in Nashville, Tennessee to take on Belmont before coming home to take on UAB on August 28 in Atlanta.

The home slate will also include big matchups against Lipscomb (Sept. 26), West Virginia (Sept. 30), Georgia Southern (Oct. 13), and the new addition to the Sun Belt, UCF (Oct. 27).

The Panthers will take on the top two competitors Kentucky (Oct. 18) and Marshall (Oct. 7) on the road this season.

Top returnees from last year's squad will include Senior
Simon Carlson who was the lone player to start in every match, led the Panthers with 18 points and was named 1
st Team All- SBC, Sophomore
Justin McLean who led the squad in assists and saw action in all 19 matches, and Sophomore
Gavin Williams who was listed among TDS Sun Belt players to watch.

The Panthers will also get back defensive players
Charlie Ward and
Alex Henderson after suffering injuries last fall.
